A Meaningful Dinner

To serve dinner to about 80 visually impaired children at the School for Blind, Sector 26, Chandigarh gave a feeling of humility, gratitude and a thought of being blessed to have eyes to see. Rtn PP Ashok Laoria, celebrated his birthday at this institute where most of the RCS members helped in serving the favourite dishes of the children like mattar paneer, mixed vegetables, tandoori rotis etc. It was a big treat to see them eat without being able to see what they were eating. This confirmed the RCS resolution to make efforts to try and give sight to as many visually impaired children as possible. The children enjoyed the ice-cream and RCS members enjoyed serving specially when they asked for more helpings. Interacting with them while they were eating was indeed great. The sit down dinner of RCS members after the children had gone was one of the greatest fellowship dinner one has ever had. Thanks to Paul Harris who thought of this fellowship get-togethers.
