To make the Adult Literacy and Skill Development class ladies aware of nutrition value in various kind of foods and also teach them to make variety of delicious food when the items are at low price in the market like during the lemon season, its price is down to make lemon squash and preserve it to be relished when it is off season was held from 20 Nov to 24th Nov 207 for 38 ladies at Baltana School. All got certificates and recipe book. They can avail interest free loan to start their own enterprise. This is a Govt of India project and this certificate holds lot of value. Various things like making Horlicks at home, Murabba, Jam, Pickle, Marmalade etc was taught.

On the fifth day, snacks and sweets competition was held. Everyone was happy to see the enthusiasm with which the ladies had prepared extra ordinary things in both the categories. R’anne Neelam Rawal, Rtn Meenakshi Gupta and Rtn Jagjit Kaur were the judges and they had tough time in finding the top three positions. About 15 prizes were given. All the 38 ladies were happy to learn various facts of nutrition and different ways to preserve the food items. The best moment was when one of the participants brought the cake made by her which R’anne Neelam Rawal had taught and she requested to cut the cake and distribute it to everyone. The evening ended by reciting the poem written by Rtn Meenakshi Gupta ‘ RCS ki wah kya baat hai, ser uthakar jeena hame sikha dia’
